"I let the music speak" gehört zu meinen All Time favourites. Der Song hat einen der besten Abbatexte, besitzt zutiefst lyrische Qualitäten und lässt uns tief in die schwedischen Musikerseelen blicken. Hier wird die Essenz, die Quelle aller Inspiration von Frida in genialer Weise besungen. Die Instrumentierung ist Chansonhaft europäisch und es gibt Taktwechsel von 3/4 zu 4/4. Ich bewundere die Form, die Benny da gefunden hat, um alles zu einem stimmigen Ganzen werden zu lassen.
Das kann ich verstehn, mir gefällt der Song auch! Und wenn Du so ins Detail gehst und Benny bewunderst, kann ich das gut nachempfinden. Ich sitze manchmal auch da und höre mir einen Song genau an. Auch die Stimmen und die Interpretation. Da wünschte ich mir, ich könnte mal bei so einer Studioarbeit Benny über die Schulter schauen. Denn wenn man sich intensiver und länger mit, gerade jetzt auch dieser Song, beschäftigt und in ihn hört, dann bin ich von der Genialität überwältigt. Ich habe jetzt auch angefangen, öfters Lieder über Kopfhörer zu hören, ganz für mich allein. Ohne Störung! Da bin ich in meiner Welt! Im Studio! Neben Benny... und schaue und höre ihm einfach zu
Da komme ich dann mit ins Studio, welch wunderbarer Gedanke. ILTMS ist ein Geniestreich von ABBA u alles passt bis aufs I Tüpfelchen. Je öfter ich dieses Lied höre um so mehr hätte ich mir ein Video dazu gewünscht. Groenalund hat es gut beschrieben.
Ist das ein Popsong? Das ist schon etwas mehr, mir gefiel der Song auf Anhieb. Ein Meisterwerk, so passend zu Fridas Stimme. Der musikalische Hintergrund dieses Liedes ist schon enorm, eine Wandlung durchzieht diese Produktion. Wie zuvor schon von Angeleyes erwähnt, auch für mich ein tolles Winteralbum, allein das Cover strahlt schon Kaminfeuer im alten Gebäude aus.
